What is non-pressure cleaning/soft washing?
Non-pressure cleaning/soft washing is an alternative to pressure or power washing. Non-pressure cleaning extensively cleans surfaces + kills the microbes that are the root source of staining on roofings and other exterior surfaces.

What about my plants?
Not to worry! On every job, we have one guy on the roof while another is on the ground. We thoroughly saturate all vegetation before, during and after the cleaning process to prevent damage from run off as much as we can. To learn more about plant damage, please visit our Terms of Service.
How long will my roof stay clean after getting eco kleened?
Results vary depending on surrounding landscaping, weather, etc. however most clients don’t need to get their roof cleaned again for another 2-3 years.
When’s the best time to get my roof kleened?
To avoid damage, we recommend cleaning as soon as you notice it’s dirty, and definitely before Summer. Dirty roofs absorb and transfer more heat than clean ones. This is especially true for light colored roofs, reflective shingles, and roofs with coatings. That heat transfers into your home through the attic, leading to higher air conditioning bills throughout these hotter months.
Is an outdoor source of water needed?
Yes, please! We do require access to water to be able to perform the work.
Will there be streaks on my windows after you clean my roof?
Although we do rinse the window before, during and after each job, there is a chance that your windows will need to be properly cleaned afterward. When combined with a roof cleaning service, our window cleaning rates are reduced.
What are the benefits of sealing my surfaces?
Concrete, pavers, travertine, etc. should be a lifetime investment. Having these surfaces sealed offers protection from extreme temperatures, which leads color fading. It also inhibits mold, increases the durability + life span of your surfaces, and enhances and/or restores coloration.
Does Eco Kleen clean + seal decks?
Yes! Sealing a deck is the key to protecting its longevity. Eco Kleen uses only the very best premium grade deck sealer. We also do fences, gazebos + palm trees.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and all major credits cards. Payment via credit card does come with a 3% surcharge, however to avoid this fee, we also conveniently accept Zelle Pay.
Why do you use the non-pressure method vs. traditional pressure washing?
Using pressure while roof cleaning can compromise the integrity of roof shingles + tiles. Contrary to what other cleaners might say, some manufactures will VOID your warranty if pressure is used while cleaning your roof. Water damage, cracked siding + discoloration are just a few of the issues linked with high pressure washing.
With ‘non-pressure’ we use cutting edge technology that gently dispels chemicals at the pressure of a garden hose. This approach works specifically to instantly clean your roof without causing damage.
Do you offer eco-friendly solutions?
We do! However, most customers opt for the standard soft-wash method. This is because non-pressure eco-friendly products just aren’t as effective. They take 2-3 months to provide visible results, and those results last around 6 months. Eco-friendly products that offer instant results that last a little longer do exist, however require that a surface cleaner/heavy equipment + pressure be used after the product is applied—and we just don’t believe that heavy equipment + pressure belong on your roof or other surfaces. Our overall goal is to clean your exterior without compromising the integrity of your shingles, tiles, pavers, walls, driveways, walkways, pool decks/patios, etc.
Do i need to be home when you’re servicing my property?
Nope. However, if you won’t be home when we are servicing your property, we do ask that you close all windows, cover any furniture or grills, and bring in any delicate plants. Also, please make sure we have access to any areas that we’ll be servicing.
If your neighborhood is gated, please give our name to the guard ahead of time!
